RCP Cal Prat Barrina

Hello friends, welcome to Cal Prat Barrina, a typical farmhouse in central Catalonia, located in a wonderful natural landscape, on the north slope of the Serra de Castelltallat, between the regions of Bages and Solsonès.

We are farmers, and we have 80 hectares of young oak forest which we manage environmentally under an arrangement with the Forest Agency of the Diputació of Barcelona. The property also has 50 hectares of dry cereals like wheat, barley, oat, rape and peas.

There is also a small poultry farm with peacocks, pheasants, turkeys and chicken at the farmhouse, as well as cats and dogs which children find particularly delightful. The best way to relax is in the wide garden with an arboretum and a rockery with aromatic and medicinal plants. The garden also houses the swimming pool, located where long ago the farmhouse pond was.

Our Rural Tourism offer is two self-contained apartments for five persons each and two double rooms. We also offer traditional cuisine, with dishes that young and old alike will love.

Customers have a computer on the ground floor of the house with an Internet connection, plus free wireless network throughout the house (coverage map).
